Welcome to my Blog! This is a first for me, but seeing as I will be gone for two years, I thought it would be good to start one.

I can't believe that I am leaving for Nicaragua on Sunday! It seems like only yesterday the Peace Corps sent me the invitation to go. I am going through three emotions daily, nervous, excited, and sad. Although college went by so fast, I am sure that this will go by even faster. Just to throw it out there, I would love visitors, so if you happen to suddenly feel the urge to see Central America, please let me know! I hope by that time, I will know the language and the land quite well.
